Salary inputs and comparisons
MuKalk’s calculation code processes entered amounts and settings in your browser. It does not send these values to a MuKalk server, an account database or Analytics. A saved comparison is held in page memory and disappears when the document is reloaded or closed. When opening downloaded files via file://, language switches can carry form settings in the local URL fragment; that fragment is not an HTTP request.
Website delivery
Like any web request, loading a page exposes connection information such as an IP address and requested URL to the hosting service. The site is hosted on a Hetzner VPS; technical access or error logs may contain these details. Do not put personal or salary information in URL query parameters or email attachments. Contact the project with questions about hosting logs; this page does not promise a retention period that has not been verified.
Optional Google Analytics
On calculator pages, Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you allow visitor statistics. MuKalk sends page-view and calculator-use events, not amounts or tax settings. Its event code removes URL queries and fragments and reduces the initial referrer to its origin. Google can process technical identifiers, IP/network information and cookies through its service; these events are not described as anonymous. The public measurement ID is G-XR209L7Q2J.
Changing the Analytics choice
Use Analytics settings in the calculator footer to allow or refuse statistics. The choice is kept under mukalk.analytics-consent.v1 in browser local storage for up to 180 days. Refusing disables this integration and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to the site. It does not retroactively delete data already processed by Google. Clearing this site’s browser data also clears the stored choice.
Google advertising and its separate consent message
Calculator pages load Google AdSense code, which may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Third parties may place or read cookies. Advertising choices are handled separately by Google’s European regulations consent message where applicable; allowing Analytics is not consent to advertising. Use the choices in that message and the Google privacy information linked below. The language-entry page and these information pages do not load advertising or Analytics code.
Email, rights and external services
If you email the Outlook contact address, the message and sender details are processed to address your request, including by the email provider. Include only what is necessary. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data and withdraw consent. Contact mukalkee@outlook.com; a concern may also be raised with Estonia’s Data Protection Inspectorate. External links open services with their own privacy practices.
